A Parisian with Corsican roots (her name means “good view” in Corsican), Gabrielle has been passionate about wine from the start. From her first school project to her first vinification experience at the age of 9. Her childhood memories are filled with numerous dinners with her grandfather, an experienced winemaker and wine trader. He allowed her to taste, just a little sip, of the most enchanting wines which set her on a course to become one of the biggest wine advocates in Paris. As a wine expert who gets to taste more than 5000 wines a year, Gabrielle has traveled to more than 30 wine-producing countries to discover the fascinating art of wine making and wine tasting. After earning an economics degree from La Sorbonne, she made the decision to pursue her passion for wine. Gabrielle spent 4 years of rigorous training at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the International Wine Organization masters and Davis CA, where she received their flagship qualifications. Journalist, professional taster, TV presenter and international speaker, Gabrielle has a portfolio of activities.

Gabrielle was awarded the best wine journalist of the year 2022 by receiving the Curnonsky prize in Paris. In December 2022, the podcast she created with Vinexposium “Wines of the future” launched on Spotify. In 2021, she launched the wine magazine “Tanin” with press group Reworld media and accompanied its start as a chief editor for the first 3 issues. She was previously an independent wine critic and journalist for France’s oldest and most widely spread a newspaper, “Le Figaro” and its magazine “Le Figaro Magazine” for half a decade. She appeared in the French TV show, “Ça Chauffe en Cuisine”, which is broadcast on the cooking channel amongst a panel of top experts in the gastronomy.She is regularly consulted and quoted by a wide variety of media as an expert for all wine and spiritsrelated issues, and a frequent guest of French and foreign TV channels.

EVENTS, WINE TASTINGS AND MASTERCLASSES

Gabrielle is a speaker in many of the biggest wine and gastronomy trade events for which she hosts masterclasses, live tastings and talks. She has collaborated with wine industry top players, both estates, interprofessions and tradeshows (Vinexpo, Wine Paris, Salon des vins de Loire, Idealwine, Vins du Chili, Vins du Portugal, BIVB, Demptos…) She also organizes wine-related events for a wide range of clients outside the industry.

TEACHING

Gabrielle shares her expertise with the students of many of the top business schools in France and abroad, principally in MBA and Master programs dedicated to wine. The case studies she wrote serve asa reference in well-know colleges such as King’s college in London or Ecole Polytechnique. Since 2018, she is a member of ESSEC wine competition judging panel.

WINE BUYER AND CONSULTANT

Gabrielle designs wine and spirits programs for top hotels, restaurants and delicatessen worldwide. She supervises the wine and spirit selections for about 30 places in France and abroad
